Vegan - Gluten free - Refined sugar free. Happy Easter!

Hey guys, thought I would treat you all this Easter with a super simple, and of course healthy, oh yeah and super delicious obv!!! Recipe I created.

Though I am not the genius behind rice crispy nests I am however the genius behind the healthy protein packed version. These little treats will be hopping there way into everyone's mouths this Easter Sunday.

They are vegan, gluten free, refined sugar free and healthy enough to eat as many as you can. I absolutely love crispy cakes so when I spotted nestle had started selling gluten free rice crispies I had to set some time aside to come up with a chocolate flavoured sauce to cover them in.

What you'll need....
Cacao powder
Agave nectar
Protein powder
Maca powder
Almond butter
Cacao butter
Rice crispies

Alternatively you can substitute cacao butter for coconut oil especially if you like that coconut-ee taste (I don't) almond butter for peanut butter (or any nut butter) agave for honey or maple syrup (though maple is too sweet for me) and cacao powder for cocoa powder!

Here is how you do it...
You take a large bowl and in it you throw 2 table spoons of cacao powder. 1 table spoon of maca, 1 table spoon of protein powder, 1 table spoon of almond butter and 75ml agave syrup. Melt 25g cacao butter and pour into the bowl. Combine all ingredients until a sticky sauce forms.  Add you rice crispies and stir I won't give measurements because everybody enjoys these differently I like mine very chocolately where as others prefer them less costed so you'll know when you've added enough.

Happy Easter darlings, I hope you enjoy these tasty healthy creations.
